E-REON developed an HF/VHF amplifier covering 1.8–54 MHz and delivering up to 1.2 kW of RF output power.
Although this frequency range and power level are often associated with communications systems, the amplifier was intended for flow-meter sensing equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
The project demonstrates how high-power RF hardware can support specialised industrial measurement applications beyond conventional communications.
