E-REON completed qualification testing of a new 200 W RF generator for operation at 433 MHz in an RF energy application.

Integrated RF system

The aluminium-housed unit combines the power amplifier, frequency synthesizer and power-measurement capability in one assembly. It requires only an external 28 V DC source and generates the necessary secondary voltages internally using an E-REON low-noise DC-DC converter.

The integrated synthesizer is configured through a PC graphical interface over USB.

The generator was developed to support a UK customer's industrial-oven development. Its completion brought together E-REON's RF, power-supply, embedded-software and mechanical-engineering capabilities.
