Initial bench testing of E-REON's new L-band amplifier pallet produced more than 550 W across 1.2 to 1.4 GHz without tuning.
At saturation, the pallet delivered more than 600 W with approximately 20 dB of gain.
Integrated control and protection
The design includes temperature-compensated bias and an onboard temperature sensor with a buffered analogue output that varies linearly with temperature. An overtemperature alarm output provides additional protection.
A dedicated trigger input supports noise quieting when required by the host system.
LDMOS platform and production readiness
The pallet is based on a mature generation of Ampleon LDMOS technology and is intended for high-power pulsed L-band applications.
Following the initial test phase, the design was being prepared for serial production in the first quarter of 2026.
