E-REON began 2026 with new automated test equipment developments and customer-specific multichannel RF work progressing through laboratory assembly and characterisation.
During 2025, the ATE portfolio expanded to include RF switches, multichannel terminations, switch matrices and active splitters based on both mechanical and solid-state technologies.
Sixteen-channel RF attenuator platform
The latest addition on the bench is a new multichannel RF attenuator module. Its target configuration combines:
- operation up to 8 GHz
- 120 dB total attenuation range
- 16 independently controlled channels
- integration into a 19-inch rack enclosure
Performance characterisation is underway. A custom browser-based interface is also being developed to provide system control and operating-status monitoring.
Phase-coherent source testing
In parallel, laboratory testing is progressing on a customer project involving a four-channel phase-coherent RF source. The system is intended for beamforming experiments and other advanced multichannel RF applications requiring closely coordinated signal generation.

The two projects reflect the same broader development approach: combining RF hardware, measurement, control software and mechanical integration within a complete test or system-level solution.
