E-REON began assembly and testing of a bidirectional power-amplifier platform designed to support two different products on a common PCB.
With only minor bill-of-material changes involving capacitors and two SAW filters, the board can be configured as either a 2.4 GHz ISM-band bidirectional PA or a 1.2–1.4 GHz L-band bidirectional amplifier for UAV communications.
Common-board implementation
The common layout was prepared for assembly and testing of both frequency-band variants.
