E-REON completed the first production batch of coherent eight-channel zero-IF IQ receivers for an Australian customer.

The units were developed for integration into a larger network of direction finders supporting real-time spectrum monitoring.

Receiver integration

Each receiver provides eight RF input channels and corresponding I/Q signal paths for connection to the downstream acquisition system.

Zero-IF architecture

The receive-chain architecture uses a low-noise amplifier, signal splitting and quadrature conversion to generate the I and Q outputs for each channel.
