E-REON added two S-band GaN power-amplifier application-board variants to its RF hardware portfolio.
The two versions cover 3.3–3.8 GHz and provide output-power levels of 125 W and 250 W. The original development update recorded first-time-right results for both variants.
Developed for WiMAX and 5G applications
The application boards were developed for RF power-amplifier use in WiMAX and 5G-related systems within the 3.3–3.8 GHz frequency range.
The two output-power variants provide alternative starting points for applications requiring different RF power levels within the same operating band.
