E-REON developed a series of compact power supply modules with enhanced size, weight and power characteristics and very low output noise.
Designed for sensitive RF circuitry
Power supplies can directly affect RF system performance. Local oscillators, phase-locked loops, low-noise amplifiers and transponders can require clean, stable power when the available source is noisy or varies over a wide input range. Switching-converter spurious signals can also pass through bias supplies and appear in the RF output spectrum.
After evaluating a range of commercial off-the-shelf modules, E-REON developed drop-in power supplies for these demanding RF and microwave applications.
Module configurations
The two smaller modules shown operate from 5.5 V to 36 V and provide up to 1 A. The larger module accepts 5 V to 42 V and provides an adjustable output, from low input voltages up to 15 V, at up to 2 A.
